Introduction

At Vastu Darpan, we strive for transparency in all transactions. This policy governs cancellations and refunds for all purchases of physical products, digital products, services, and subscriptions. By placing an order, you explicitly agree to these terms.

Cancellation Window

  • You may cancel any purchase within 48 hours of transaction completion.
  • The cutoff is strict: Requests must be timestamped before 11:59 PM IST on the 2nd day after purchase.
  • Example: A purchase made June 1 at 3 PM must be canceled by June 3 at 3 PM.

Refund Eligibility

Approved Only If:

  • Requested within the 48-hour window
  • All required documents are submitted (Section 4)

Cancellation Process

To cancel, follow these steps within 48 hours:

Step 1: Email Request: Send an email to hello@vastudarpan.com with subject: CANCELLATION REQUEST - [Your Order Number]

Step 2: Include Mandatory Details

  • Full name and contact number
  • Invoice
  • Cancelled Cheque:
    • Clear scanned copy cheque (JPEG/PDF) showing:
      • Account holder name
      • Account number
      • IFSC code
      • Bank branch 

Step 3: Confirmation

  • We’ll validate your request within 24 working hours.
  • Incomplete submissions will be rejected.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 10 working days of validation.
  • Refunds are issued only to the original bank account provided.
  • Note:
    • Refunds exclude transaction fees or currency conversion charges.
    • Delays may occur due to bank processing times (typically 3-5 days).

Absolute Non-Refund Scenarios & Components

Zero exceptions will be made for:

  • Requests submitted after 48 hours
  • Digital products downloaded or accessed
  • Services where work has commenced
  • Subscriptions active beyond cancellation window
  • Products damaged by customer mishandling
  • Orders with incomplete documentation

The following amounts will never be refunded in any case:

  1. GST Component: Statutorily remitted to government
  2. Payment Gateway Processing Fees
  3. Shipping/Courier Charges (if applicable)
  4. Any Bank Transaction Fees

Critical Disclaimers

  • No Verbal Assurances: This written policy overrides any other communications.
  • Fraud Prevention: We require a cancelled cheque to protect your account.
  • Liability Limitations: Vastu Darpan is not responsible for:
    • Delays from incorrect/incomplete bank details
    • Emails not received due to spam filters/typos
    • Bank processing fees or failures
    • Refunds for undelivered emails

Policy Enforcement

  • This is a strict policy – no discretionary exceptions.
  • Attempts to dispute valid charges after 48 hours may result in permanent service blacklisting.
  • Policy modifications will be updated on this page.

Acknowledgement Clause

By purchasing anything from Vastu Darpan, it is assumed user's/ customer confirm that they have read, understood, and irrevocably agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy. they acknowledge that no refunds will be issued after 48 hours under any circumstances.
